about the site
as many sites start out; i learned all about HTML,CSS and graphics on xanga of 2006. I was bored and out of my mind and didn't have anything else to do, so i made a layout site on xanga. Of course nobody really used it, because i didnt' know what i was doing and had no proper editing software. Then in May 2007, i asked my mom if i can use photoshop CS3 and she bought it for me for my birthday. Thats when i knew i had to get off xanga and move on to something more difficult, something more people use and that was myspace. So i started playing around with photoshop and soon learned the basics all on my own, no help (maybe tutorials) but i didn't beg for some site to teach me. So in May 2007 falling up was born. and i knew it would be my baby. I went on it everyday and it got so addicting over the summer. i felt that it was great. Then myspace drama started and everyone on myspace pretty much hated each other, i had someone threaten to hack me and i had some people who thought i was a snobby person because i didn't answer.. well i don't have time; and sometimes they were obvious questions. Then i started getting spammers and that was horrible. Finally in September Sam of babylove accpeted my wish to be hosted. I didn't know anything about websites, but i knew i wanted to get away from myspace. I didn't know you need to know ftp or css or cutenews or anything. I was so non-experienced in that field and my graphics weren't any good. After some attempts of trying and not wanting sam to help me with everything, i decided to quit the subdomain and it was for the better. then i really tied hard and learned more about ftp and css coding. Then when myspace went totally stupid, like link problems and drama, i decided i needed a subdomain not a domain (because why would i buy one if i never used ftp before). So then i decided to look for domains, that were having open hosting. I didn't like free hosting from web-builders/websites because i feel its not as personal. i applied for 3 domains, hoping one would reply, and the first one was jay from cinnamoncomet. and i couldn't be happier... the story will continue.
about the site
This is Falling up; always named falling up (even on myspace). We offer layouts, graphics, tutorials and everything. One day i hope to get my own domain; but i need to get good at FTP and CSS coding first.
